Farley J. Cohen is a founding Principal of Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. where he specializes in business valuations, quantification of economic damages and forensic accounting investigations. He is a Member Arbitrator/Mediator and acts in commercial litigation cases involving shareholder disputes, shareholder buyout and breach of contract disputes. 

Farley Cohen is a founding Principal of Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc. where he specializes in business valuations, quantification of economic damages and forensic accounting investigations. Farley’s practice includes providing expert assistance covering many different industries and analyzing losses resulting from varying litigation scenarios. Prior to the establishment of Cohen Hamilton Steger, he was a Managing Director in the Toronto office of Navigant Consulting’s Disputes & Investigations practice and the head of Kroll's Canadian Valuation Services Group. ​

Farley has appeared as an expert witness at numerous trials in Federal and Provincial court proceedings in Canada and in the United Kingdom. He has acted as an arbitrator in commercial litigation cases involving shareholder disputes, shareholder buyouts and breach of contract disputes, as well as being retained as a mediator. He has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Expert Witnesses by Lexpert/American Lawyer. Farley has written articles for legal publications, has been a speaker at numerous seminars and law firms and is a Past Chair and member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
